I rage much, I sleep little. Incongruously, I have been a union activist and simultaneously a Constitutional libertarian. I am a registered nurse, a sailor, an Army veteran, and a III%er... I am a complicated man.

The (expensive) Dog Days of Summer

Before I head back to work, I was thinking about the Obama Vineyard vacation, 2 things actually:

1. The businessman/friend from Chicago whose 7.6 million dollar estate the president is staying on is actually a financial contributor and corporate finance manager named David Schulte. Interestingly enough, Mr. Schulte has more than 30 years of “restructuring experience” http://tinyurl.com/kbxuf4o ...can you say Bain capital? Hypocrisy knows no bounds I guess.

2. The 1st Dog Bo, was flown to the island on a USMC Osprey, the MV-22 Osprey holds 1,721 gallons of fuel, with a range of 390 nm. Distance by air from DCA to MVY is 381.93 miles. At Dulles International Airport in DC, Landmark Aviation was charging 9.00 per gallon for AvGas.

$9.00x1,721gal=$15,489 to fly a dog to the Vineyard.

Your tax dollars at work. WTF...
